Swansea, Chelsea and Spurs want to sign Santiago Arias

Chelsea have been tracking Arias for weeks and have identified him as a viable target to boost their wing-back positions.

Tottenham are hoping to further invest in their defence after Davinson Sanchez arrived from Ajax this week.

But Southampton are primed to beat the Premier League duo to Arias’ signature.

That is according to the Sun on Sunday, who claim the 25-year-old is top of Swansea’s list of targets.

Manager Paul Clement is hoping to secure a £12million deal and wrap up months of interest in the player.

The Colombian right-back is supposedly aware of Chelsea’s interest but he’s open to a move to the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans have cash to spend after selling Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton in a £45m deal.

Arias is an attack-minded full-back that would suit Clement’s plans.

Mourinho shows Man Utd confidence before Swansea clash

Swansea yesterday lost 4-0 to Manchester United after suffering a second-half collapse.

The Sun on Sunday claim they are also in for free agent Lawrence Shankland, who has left Aberdeen.
