Manchester United have had done good business in the transfer market, bringing in Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanaja Matic.

However, Jose Mourinho has made no attempt to hide the fact he wants four summer signings and wis keen to add a wide player to his ranks.

Last week he claimed he could make do without the fourth player, claiming he did not want to put pressure on executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

However, bookmakers BetStars think Mourinho will get his wish in the shape of Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, who has been a target for Arsenal.

“Thomas Lemar has also been linked with a move to Man Utd,” BetStars director of trading Ian Marmion said.

“And it looks as though they could swipe the French forward from under the nose of Arsenal, who have had long term interest in the Monaco man.

“Lemar is now available at 6/1 to sign for Jose Mourinho’s side and bolster their attacking threat.

“Gareth Bale has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu and he is priced at 14/1 with BetStars to head to Old Trafford.”

Speaking last week about his fourth summer signing, Mourinho said: “I told Mr Woodward obviously my plans were four but I also told him be cool, no pressure from me.

“I said to him do what you think is the best for the club.

“We will be together for another transfer window in January and next summer so there is no pressure from me at all.

“I am happy with the squad we have. I am ready to go without a fourth player. If we are out of the market, I am fine. I'm ready.”
