Arsenal news: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to meet Arsene Wenger and Ivan Gazidis tomorrow

Oxlade-Chamberlain is in the last year of his contract at Arsenal and is yet to agree an extension.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the 24-year-old with Antonio Conte desperate to add new signings before the 11pm deadline on August 31.

But Arsenal will hope they can convince the England international to stay at the Emirates in their meeting tomorrow.

“Arsenal’s stance has not changed over Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain,” reporter Aidan Magee said on Sky Sports' transfer centre.

“Arsene Wenger still hopes he will sign a new contract.

“We reported last month that he was no closer to to agreeing a new deal and it looked likely he would leave this summer.

“Our latest information is that Oxlade-Chamberlain is due to meet the club for talks tomorrow.

“The manager Wenger and chief executive Ivan Gazidis are expected to attend.”
