Transfer News: Swansea launch shock bid to sign Renato Sanches over Chelsea and Liverpool

SWANSEA are reportedly plotting a stunning move for Bayern Munich star Renato Sanches.

Liverpool target Renato Sanches shows off skills on the pitch

Sanches was left out of the Bayern squad which took on Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga over the weekend and director of sport Hasan Salihamidzic admitted the midfielder has been the subject of offers.

"Sanches is not here. He asked the coach as he has a few offers and the coach allowed it," Salihamidzic said.

"But I can't confirm any deal."

And manager Carlo Ancelotti said he would be happy whether Sanches stays or goes, saying: "If he stays, I’m satisfied.

Chelsea and Liverpool have been strongly linked with the 20-year-old

“If he goes, it’s okay - no problem.”

Chelsea and Liverpool have been strongly linked with the 20-year-old but Wales Online claim Swansea are also in with a chance to sign him.

The deal could mean a reunion with Sanches and Swansea boss Paul Clement after the pair worked together at the Allianz Arena.

Swansea have money to spend after Gylfi Sigurdsson's £45million Everton move and Clement is keen to bring players in before the deadline.

Renato Sanches is wanted by a number of clubs

He said: ”It is very important the club and myself work together on identifying and recruiting the right target.

"There is nothing worse than when - and this has not happened here, but in other situations - a player just arrives and it is a case of 'there you go, here he is'.

"It can be great and you think it's a fantastic unexpected signing, or it can be a feeling that you don't want him.

"The last window I was an influence on Martin Olsson because I had worked with him before, the others were a bit more advanced, but I had to make sure I was comfortable with all of them and I did my research."
