Arsenal were humiliated by Liverpool at Anfield

The Gunners didn't have a shot on target against the Reds on Sunday as they capitulated to a 4-0 defeat.

The performance left Gunners great Dixon incensed and he ordered players to give the fans answers.

He said: "I've not seen anything as bad, it's not difficult statement to make. it's the worst I've seen - and I've seen a few bad ones.

"That was abject, every single one of them should be made to give in their plane ticket and get train home and talk to fans.

"That was just embarrassing. I was embarrassed to do comnentary up there and I shouldn't be.

"You should be able to get positives out of any game but I can't. The shape was wrong, we were badly outnumbered in midfield.

"The players didn't give their all, Arsene's tactics were wrong and they didn't bother closing the ball. Every single part of their game was off.

"I've never come off and been embarrassed as a player but I'd have been embarassed by that.

"If their star players don't perform, they are bang average."
