Where is Riyad Mahrez going? Leicester star looks set to leave Foxes
Leicester star Mahrez has been linked with Chelsea and Barcelona in the last few days.
He is currently on international duty with Algeria but in a surprise revelation this morning the winger was granted permission to leave the camp to pursue a transfer.
Leicester are desperate to keep their playmaker, who handed in a transfer request at the start of the summer.
Credit must go to Mahrez who has continued to perform for Leicester despite wanting to leave - something that cannot be said for both Philippe Coutinho and Diego Costa this summer.
So where is Riyad Mahrez going? It looks like a move to another Premier League club is most likely.
Mahrez in Paris
Riyad Mahrez was spotted in Paris this morning.
He was at the airport in the French capital waiting to catch a flight.
There are claims he could be heading to London, Manchester or Barcelona.
Mahrez to Chelsea
Chelsea are favourites to sign Riyad Mahrez and are closing in on a £45million deal, reports claim.
Mahrez is thought to be heading back to England from the Algeria camp.
No official bids have been lodged, claim talkSPORT.
But Chelsea are the clear frontrunners to secure a deal.
The Blues are also in for Danny Drinkwater and a £25m bid for Ross Barkley is expected.
Leicester may try to shut up shop and block bids for Mahrez and Drinkwater.
But the players want to leave and hold the power on deadline day.
Mahrez to Barcelona
Barcelona have emerged as suitors for Mahrez as they struggle to secure a new playmaker.
Philipe Coutinho is finding it impossible to get out of Liverpool and in now in Brazil on international duty, so a move is growing less likely.
Angel Di Maria has also been targeted by Mahrez’s move seems an easier option for everyone involved.
Mahrez to Manchester United
Another supposed option for Mahrez is Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho wants a winger and has expressed his desire to sign one more player before the 11pm deadline.
Mourinho is not pressuring the United board to get a deal through but Mahrez would be a real steal for the Red Devils.
United have already refused to stump up £50m for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic.
So a move for Mahrez for around the same fee may not be too favourable.

Mahrez to Roma
Roma were desperate to sign Mahrez earlier this summer after they sold Mohamed Salah to Liverpool.
Unfortunately, Leicester knew Roma have money to spend and bumped their price up for the Algerian.
It is doubtful Roma will make a late move for Mahrez but if the player turns up in Italy later today it will be a clear indication that a move will be taking place.
