Everton transfer news: Arsenal star Lucas Perez is wanted by Ronald Koeman

Ronald Koeman is short of strikers after selling Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United in a £90million deal earlier this summer.

Everton have signed Wayne Rooney, Sandro Ramirez and Gylfi Sigurdsson but are still on the lookout for firepower.

And Sky Sports say Everton are trying to take Perez on a season-long loan from Arsenal, who are considering the offer.

Deportivo La Coruna are also interested in the 28-year-old, having sold him to Arsenal for £17m a year ago.

And Sky Sports say Perez would prefer to return to Spain with Deportivo.

Everton could sell Ross Barkley to Tottenham or Chelsea today, while Kevin Mirallas may head to West Ham.

“West Ham made an enquiry this morning about Kevin Mirallas, for a loan deal,” Jim White said on talkSPORT.

“Everton have come back and said forget the on-loan bit. If it’s a permanent deal we’re interested.

“The Belgium international may be out of Everton and to West Ham on a permanent basis.”
