Fellaini, 29, has played a bit-part role for Manchester United since joining from Everton in a £27million move in 2013.

He featured more regularly under Jose Mourinho last term, making 18 Premier League starts.

But with Nemanja Matic arriving from Chelsea, his first-team chances have been limited with the Belgium international coming off the bench in ’s opening three league games.

Fellaini has just ten months remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford and can leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

And according to Turkish-Football, he has struck an agreement to join Galatasaray next summer.

Reports surfaced last month regarding Galatasaray’s move for Fellaini when the transfer window was open.

But was quick to dismiss these claims by insisting that the Turkish giants have more chance of signing him.

“It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than to get Maroaune,” Mourinho said.

“Forget it. He’s too important to me.”

However, it seems Galatasaray's persistence and determination to sign him has seem them move one step closer to securing his signature.

The report adds Fenerbahce have also been in talks regarding a move for Fellaini.

It is said the Yellow Canaries are interested in signing him in January, which could tempt United into negotiating a deal for him as they could get some cash for him.
