Barcelona News: Messi considering exit, Ozil move was blocked, Coutinho in Klopp battle

Barcelona star Lionel Messi is serious considering his future at the club in the wake of the club's failure to sign Philippe Coutinho and Angel Di Maria.

Spanish website Diario Gol say the Argentine is yet to formally sign a contract extension.

And he is frustrated at the Nou Camp following their failure to sign Coutinho or Di Maria.

Barcelona lost Neymar and - while the singing of Ousmane Dembele represents good business - the arrivals of Gerard Deulofeu and Paulinho are under scrutiny.

And Messi shares the same concern as many fans - they are falling behind Real Madrid on the off the pitch.

Messi supposedly blocked a move to Barcelona for Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the Argentina international told club chiefs not to sign the Germany international.

And his reasoning behind the move was because he thought it would represent poor business.

Ozil has struggled at Arsenal in recent times and his contract at the Emirates expires in 12 months time. 

Philippe Coutinho may struggle to win round Jurgen Klopp after his failed move to Barcelona, reports say.

The Liverpool Echo claim the Brazilian may have to work extra hard to re-earn the trust of his manager.

They cite the case of Mamadou Sakho, who was exiled by Klopp a year ago.

The defender has since joined Crystal Palace given there was no way back for him at Anfield.
