Arsenal fans have taken Alexis Sanchez's latest Instagram post very personally
Chilean forward Sanchez posted an emotional message on his Instagram account following the World Cup qualifying loss, saying he is "tired of crying after a defeat".
Chile's hopes of making the World Cup are in the balance with Sanchez's side currently sixth in the table with just two games remaining to seal a top-four place.
The 28-year-old has been criticised by media in South America and has now hit back after a frustrating month in which Arsenal lost to Stoke and Liverpool before a deadline-day move to Manchester City collapsed.
Sanchez accompanied the post with a picture of himself in an Arsenal kit with a Chile flag around his shoulders, and Gunners fans have been quick to assume his frustration is directed at his current club.
