Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been linked with a move to Turkey

The Turkish transfer window closes today - a week after most of Europe’s transfer deadlines passed.

Fenerbahce have already revealed they were in talks with Chelsea over a deal but have since dropped their interest.

Besiktas are said to be eyeing a very late deal to take him on loan until January.

But Conte would not budge when quizzed over the future of their AWOL Spain international.

“No. No news. My focus is English football, not Turkey,” he said.

Asked if he had encountered frustrations with Costa over the summer, Conte said: “When you are a manager you must be prepared to face this situation.

“Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes difficult.

“Every manager has great experience to deal with it.”

Conte sent Costa a message at the start of the summer explaining he would not play for the club again.

Costa has remained in his native Brazil and has refused to return to training at Cobham.

He wants a move to Atletico Madrid but the La Liga club are unable to field new signings until the New Year due to a transfer ban.
