Real Madrid star Isco is reportedly wanted at Man Utd and Spurs

Real Madrid are desperate for Isco to pen a new deal as Premier League rivals eye his availability.

The attacking midfielder is out of contract this summer, meaning he could begin talks over a free transfer as early as January.

The Sun claim both Manchester United and Tottenham are keen to get their hands on the Spain international.

But Real president Florentino Perez insists the player will sign fresh terms.

“Isco arrived here when he was very young and all he has done is improve,” Perez told radio station Cadena SER.

“He is currently playing as we believed he would turn out.

“We will be announcing his contract renewal in the coming days, a renewal which is a done deal.”

The Sun claim Isco is a long-term target of Tottenham, who laboured to sign players during the transfer window.

United got all their business done before the start of the season and, while they were open to securing one more signing, Isco was never a realistic option this summer.

It is claimed both clubs will end their interest in signing Isco - at least in the short term.
