Jurgen Klopp clashes with Sevilla bench after draw

Liverpool go up against Burnley aiming to bounce back after two recent bad results.

The Reds were thumped 5-0 by Manchester City last week in a game that also saw Sadio Mane dismissed for a wild challenge on goalkeeper Ederson.

And defensive woes cost them dearly in the 2-2 draw with Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday.

But Klopp has provided positive injury updates on Ings and Lallana, as well as Nathaniel Clyne.

“Ingsy is in training, Adam and Clyney are still too far away," he said.

“Maybe Adam can start running this week or beginning of next week.

"Clyney is improving a lot, I’m not sure about when it will be that he starts training completely normal.”

Ings has endured a nightmare Liverpool career since arriving from Burnley in 2015.

The striker has managed just 11 appearances, scoring three times.

Lallana, meanwhile, has been sidelined since sustaining a thigh injury shortly before the new season.

Liverpool endured mixed results against Burnley last season.

The Clarets won 2-0 at Turf Moor.

But Liverpool got revenge by winning 2-1 at Anfield.
