Chelsea News: Eden Hazard told to play alongside Neymar at PSG by Thomas Meunier

CHELSEA star Eden Hazard has been told to join Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain by close friend Thomas Meunier.

PSG broke the bank this summer to sign Neymar from Barcelona in a world-record £198million transfer deal.

However, Unai Emery’s side look set to continue to try and sign blockbuster names for many years to come.

Chelsea star Hazard made a name for himself in Ligue 1 before joining the Blues, starring for Lille alongside former Stamford Bridge hero Joe Cole.

And PSG star Meunier thinks his fellow Belgium international would flourish alongside Neymar if he opted to move to the Parc des Princes.

“Eden and Neymar are on the same level of ability,” he said.

“Neymar loves to have the ball at his feet, and to create situations on his own.  Eden was like that when he first started out.

“He was greedy, but he has simplified his game while keeping his technique and vision.

“To my mind Eden could play for PSG with his hands tied behind his back.  It would be a fantastic transfer for us.

“Eden would be good enough to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona as well.  He could play anywhere.

“He is in the group of truly great players alongside Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, who have ability in their DNA.”

Hazard has won the Premier League title twice during his five years in English football.

And he is in contention to start for the Blues when they go up against Arsenal tomorrow (13.30pm).
