Paul Pogba injury update: I have no idea when he'll be back - Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has admitted he doesn't know when Paul Pogba will return from injury.

Pogba was ruled out for at least six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in United's Champions League win over Basel earlier this month.

The 24-year-old has missed the victories over Everton in the Premier League and Burton in the League Cup.

And he faces a race against time to be fit for next month's trip to Liverpool on October 14.

Speaking ahead of United's clash with Southampton this weekend, Mourinho said he wasn't sure when Pogba would be back.

“I have no idea [when he will be back],” Mourinho stated.

“No idea. But, again, it’s a great opportunity for other players to play and I trust them all.

"So I’m not going to cry or be counting the days until Pogba comes back, not at all.

"When he comes back, welcome, but until then, I trust my people.”
