SERGIO AGUERO has revealed he's back in Manchester after breaking his rib in a car crash in Amsterdam last night.

Aguero was travelling in a taxi after attending a music concert when the vehicle struck a pole.

Manchester City Pep Guardiola confirmed earlier in the day that Aguero had suffered a broken rib in the accident.

The Argentine will miss tomorrow evening’s clash with Chelsea and Guardiola was reluctant to put a timescale on his recovery.

He is also likely to miss Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers against Peru (October 5) and Ecuador (October 10).

And this evening Aguero has taken to Twitter to shed further light on the incident and thank fans for their supportive messages.

Aguero, who posed for picture with a thumbs up and smile, tweeted: “Thank you with all my heart for the supportive messages, they really do help me in recovering.

“The taxi I was riding made a wrong turn and crashed against a pole.
