LAURENT KOSCIELNY appears to be a major doubt for Arsenal’s clash with Brighton after being absent from training this morning.

Koscielny started and finished Monday’s 2-0 win over West Brom but he was not included in the Arsenal squad which beat BATE Borisov 4-2 in the Europa League on Thursday.

Yesterday, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger revealed the French defender was struggling with an Achilles problem and would a test.

He said: “We have a doubt about Laurent Koscielny unfortunately and he will have a test tomorrow. It’s an Achilles problem, it’s ongoing.”

And it appears Koscielny failed his test after he was missing from the session.
