Arsenal news: AC Milan plot massive £75m move for Alexis Sanchez in January

ARSENAL contract rebel Alexis Sanchez is on the radar of AC Milan, according to reports.

Sanchez, 28, looks destined to leave Arsenal by the end of the season after entering into the final year of his contract.

The Gunners looked set to make a profit on Alexis Sanchez instead of losing him on a free transfer in the summer when Manchester City lodged a bid totalling £60million on deadline day.

But Arsene Wenger’s side pulled the plug on the deal after they failed to land a replacement in time, with Monaco winger Thomas Lemar opting against a move despite a £92m bid being accepted.

It is said City will go back in for in January when the Chile international is free to negotiate with other clubs.

However, Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the north London side have the chance cash in and make a whopping £40m profit on Sanchez in January.

Sanchez signed for Arsenal from Barcelona in a £35m deal in the summer of 2014.

The Serie A side, who are backed by Chinese investment, are desperate to add to their squad and view Sanchez as the man to help them restore the club back to its former glories.

Express Sport understands Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on the forward as they look to find a replacement for Edison Cavani, who has fallen out with world-record signing Neymar.

It is believed that the Ligue 1 side are willing to offer Sanchez a £10m bonus if he signs a pre-contract in January.

Up next for Arsenal is a Premier League clash with Brighton today (12pm).
