Chelsea news: Alvaro Morata was always going to succeed at Stamford Bridge, says Claude Makelele

Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window for a fee that could rise to £70million.

The Spaniard scored six goals in his first seven Premier League appearances, including a hat-trick against Stoke.

Morata is set for at least a month on the sidelines though, after picking up a hamstring injury against Manchester City last Saturday.

But Makelele is still confident he will score plenty of goals for Chelsea, after proving his prowess at Real and Juventus.

He’s gone to Juventus, he scored goals there. Of course he will score goals at Chelsea
