JOSE MOURINHO insists he will not finish his career at Manchester United and has even hinted a move to Paris Saint-Germain could be on the cards in the future.

Reports earlier this week suggest the Portuguese is in line for a new £65million five-year deal with the Red Devils boss keen to sign.

Jose Mourinho initially signed a three-year deal in the summer of 2016.

But the former Chelsea manager has impressed United chiefs following his efforts last year that saw them win the Europa League and the EFL Cup.

With United keen to tie him down to a long-term contract, Mourinho’s latest comments could cause some reservations about handing him a five-year deal.

Mourinho is yet to test his managerial skills in France but has suggested it could be on his agenda with his son a fan and the club building "something special."

Speaking to Telefoot, Mourinho said that the Red Devils would not be his last job in management, when asked about a possible move to PSG.

He said: “What I can say is that I am still a manager with questions, with ambitions, with a desire to do new things and I do not think… I am sure that I will not finish my career here.”

“The other day, my son who lives in London decided to go to Paris and not Manchester to watch a match. Why Paris? Because at the moment, PSG have something special. There is a magic, youthfulness and quality. It is fantastic.”

Mourinho has won Champions League titles with Porto and Inter Milan, while also winning domestic titles with Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Ligue 1 remains a division the Portuguese is yet to be given the opportunity to manage.

Current PSG boss Unai Emery failed to win Ligue 1 during his first season as Monaco achieved a first title in 17 years leading to speculation he could be axed.

But the Spaniard has started this season brightly with the club six points clear at the top.
