Kane’s sensational league form for Spurs has carried over into Europe with five goals and one assist from their opening two games in Group H.

The 24-year-old is now being linked with a number of top clubs and, according to Spanish outlet Marca, Real Madrid are rumoured to be preparing a big money move.

Speaking to the press, Zidane said: “I don't know what will happen in the future. In the present, I know what he's doing, he's very important player, a key player for Tottenham, very good at everything but he always does it all towards the goal.

“He does not stay (still), he takes the space with speed and he's very good. He's a complete player. He didn't seem to be but in the end he is.

“We know he's a really good player and things are going well for him - but Tottenham, not just Kane.

“Tottenham has always been a great club but it is constantly moving. This team is improving and the coach has done a great job.

“It will be a good game and we will prepare well. It will be a good match for anyone who likes football and we hope to get three points."

Kane isn’t the only player Zidane has been impressed with and claims goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will have a key part to play at the Bernabéu.

“He will do his best for us not to win,” said the Real boss.

“He is a goalkeeper who has improved a lot, he was really good at Lyon but progressed a lot.

“He will play a very important role. I will see what we can do to create difficulty for Tottenham's defenders.”

Spurs fans will be pleased to know ex-star Gareth Bale will be watching from the stands through injury but Zidane is hoping another former player can be the difference, in the shape of Luka Modric.

“Luka's quality you know - he is a very important player," Zidane added.

“When he plays, he's really good and when the others play they always do really well. We find the holes and find the solutions to win the matches.”

Tottenham are yet to beat their Galactico opponents and their last visit to the Bernabeu resulted in a 4-0 defeat in 2011.
