Chelsea face Watford on Saturday at Stamford Bridge (12.30pm) and are desperate to pick up three points after going three games without a win.

The Blues have slumped to fifth in the Premier League table, nine points off leaders Manchester City and would be expected to beat Marco Silva's men at home.

However, Antonio Conte is faced with a huge injury crisis in midfield and has claimed Cesc Fabregas may be the only player available to him in the centre of the park.

When asked about his team selection for Saturday's clash, Conte said: "Honestly at the moment I can tell nothing about the starting XI for tomorrow.

"I have many doubts. I hope in these 24 hours to try to recover some players. It could be [Cesc is only one fit in midfield]."

The Blues are expected to be without N'Golo Kante, Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko, leaving them thin on the ground in midfield.

And Conte has admitted it has made an already tough test against Watford all the more difficult.

"For sure tomorrow the game will be very tough because Watford is a good team and a good position in the table," he added.

"We play at home and after two defeats in the league we want to come back and win.

"I think they are doing very well and they did a really good transfer market.

"They strengthened very well the squad.

"I am very happy for the Pozzo family, I know them very well.

"They have a great knowledge in the football. I am happy for them but tomorrow we want to beat them."
