Chelsea vs Watford: Antonio Conte's side came from behind to win the Premier League clash 4-2

Batshuayi scored twice from the substitutes bench to help Chelsea beat Watford 4-2 at Stamford Bridge today.

The Belgian was dropped from the starting XI after Alvaro Morata returned from his hamstring injury.

But he replaced the Spaniard at 2-1 down on the hour mark and his two goals sealed an important win for Blues boss Antonio Conte.

Redknapp was impressed by Batshuayi and says he proved a point to his many doubters.

What Batshuayi has got to start doing is not just doing it from the bench

“He’s an instinctive player,” Redknapp said of the Chelsea man.

“Sometimes when it looks easy for him he makes mistakes.

“But that ball, as it comes across, it’s a great header. It really is.

“He just takes the pace and flicks it into the corner. It’s unstoppable. He got man of the match and rightly so, he changed the game.

“Again (for his second goal), I think you’ve got to credit him.

“Batshuayi came on, point to prove, strength there, too strong for him, holds the defender off and a lovely little finish. That will give him a lot of confidence.

“What he’s got to start doing is not just doing it from the bench.

“But as a manager, when you make these substitutions you are looking for a reaction and for something to happen and he gave his manager that.”
