Juventus Pogba latest

15:46: Juventus will not be punished for their part in a payment made to Paul Pogba’s agent during his transfer to Manchester United.

FIFA had been investigating the £89.3million move, which broke the transfer record in 2016.

The crux of the investigation was how much Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola earned from the transaction.

Manchester United were cleared in the summer of any wrongdoing over the France international’s switch back to Old Trafford four years after he left.

And Juventus president Andrea Agnelli said in a shareholders meeting today that no action will be brought against the club.

"FIFA's investigation into Pogba has concluded without any implication for Juventus, who have been completely acquitted," he said.

Coutinho to PSG?

15:30: Real Madrid want Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho to join PSG instead of Barcelona.

Don Balon say Los Blancos chief Florentino Perez has held a secret meeting with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaif.

And he supposedly begged him to ensure Coutinho ends up at the Parc des Princes.

15:00: Antonio Conte wants to keep Charly Musonda until the end of the season.

Reus speaks out

14:06: Marco Reus says he will think about his next career move when his current deal with the Bundesliga club runs out in 2019.

Manchester United and Arsenal are rumoured to be showing interest in the winger.

“There are four or five international clubs who interest me," the Germany international, who is currently injured, told GQ.

“On May 31 next year, I will turn 30. That would be my last big contract and a final opportunity to try something different.

“I have to be honest and fair and say I don’t know where I’ll end up. At the moment, I’m very happy in Dortmund and not thinking about what happens after 2019. But, of course, the time will come and then I will sit down and calmly make a decision.”

Harry Kane would cost Real Madrid £223m

12.31: Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has ruled out signing Tottenham hitman Harry Kane - claiming he would cost a world-record fee of £223million.

The England international has been hotly linked with the La Liga giants after netting 45 goals this calendar year.

However, Perez insists he is happy with current forward Karim Benzema.

"Signing Harry Kane has not passed through my head,” Perez told Spanish radio show El Partidazo.

"He is a great player and in addition he is young.

"I didn't ask Tottenham's president for the price because he would have told me that he is worth €250m (£223m).”

Silvestre not keen on Ozil to Man Utd

11:50: Mikael Silvestre doesn’t think Mesut Ozil would cut it at Manchester United if he left Arsenal.

“I think he would have to change his attitude,” Silvestre told beIN Sports.

“I think it’s mainly when the team loses the ball.

“The first few seconds in reaction – that’s when the coaches want you to get up and try to recover as quickly as possible.

“Be that man to block and try to stop your opponent.

“And his transitions sometimes, he looks like ‘okay we lost the ball now and I’ve got to run back now because I’m Arsenal’, but sometimes it doesn’t look like he is interested, so at United he wouldn’t last long – especially with Jose [Mourinho].”

Koeman breaks silence

10:45: Ronald Koeman says he is ‘disappointed’ to have been sacked by Everton.

“I would like to place on record my thanks to the players and staff for all of their work and commitment during my 16 months as Everton manager,” he said.

“I would like to thank Bill Kenwright, Farhad Moshiri and the Everton Board for the opportunity to have managed a great club, and to the fans as well for their passionate support for the club.

“Naturally I am disappointed at this moment, but I wish the team good luck in the future.”

Reus battle

10:27: Manchester United and Arsenal are both battling for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus.

The 28-year-old is currently sidelined with a cruciate knee-ligament injury but that has not stopped the Premier League duo showing interest.

Reus is out of contract in the summer of 2019 and reports in Germany claim Arsenal and United could both make a move for him in January or the end of the season.

Neville eyes Everton job

09:36: Phil Neville has thrown his hat into the ring over the vacant Everton job following Ronald Koeman's sacking.

The former Manchester United and Everton defender is looking to take the step into management in a full-time capacity.

Neville previously worked as an assistant coach at Valencia.

Chelsea eye Wilshere

08:42:Chelsea will reportedly make a move for Jack Wilshere if he fails to sign a new deal with Arsenal.

The midfielder is out of contract with the Gunners in the summer and The Daily Mail claim he is on the Blues’ radar.

Arsenal are expecting to sit down with Wilshere’s representatives in the next few weeks in an attempt to extend his stay at the Emirates.

The Mail say Chelsea and Manchester City are both showing interest as the look to boost their quota of home-grown players.

Bruce wants Man Utd keeper

07:47:Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce is hell-bent on securing a permanent deal for Sam Johnstone.

Goalkeeper Johnstone, 24, re-joined Villa on a season-long loan from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Bruce said: “We will do everything in our power to get him here permanently.

“He is going to find it difficult at United to break through because of what they have got so we are hopeful.”

Coutinho off in January

07:00: Liverpool are prepared to let Philippe Coutinho join Barcelona in January, claim Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo.

They claim that Barcelona scouts watched the 25-year-old at Wembley on Sunday as Jurgen Klopp's side were beaten 4-1 by Tottenham.

They also state that the German has neither ruled out a sale, nor denied that an agreement exists between the two clubs over his eventual transfer.

"I have no idea. We will see. We do not talk about things like this,” Klopp said.

“Can you imagine what it would be like to say 'yes, we have an agreement'?

“Right now, the truth is that nobody thinks about this . We do not talk about that, why should we?”

Mundo Deportivo claim Liverpool leaders have promised Coutinho he will be sold in January.
