Michael Carrick hasn't played for Manchester United since September
Carrick has been on the periphery of things at Old Trafford this term, making just one appearance in the 4-1 win over Burton in the Carabao Cup last month.
Aside from that, Carrick has been an unused substitute five times this campaign, and he wasn’t even included in the 1-0 Premier League win away to Southampton.
The 36-year-old, who signed a new one-year deal over the summer, has attracted interest from the likes of Aston Villa and Leicester.
And according to The Sun, Carrick supposedly complained about feeling dizzy and sick after the Burton game, although doctors aren’t sure what is causing it.
The report indicates Carrick could return to training this week.

Explaining Carrick’s lack of playing time last month, Mourinho said: “We gave [Carrick] a contract because we think he is a good player, we think he is an important player.
“He is just in a team where, in this moment, Matic and Fellaini are in the best form that I've ever seen them. I never saw Matic playing so well, I've never saw Fellaini play so well.
