'He's progressing well' Conte gives N'Golo Kante injury update

Kante has been out since October after injuring his hamstring on international duty for France.

He's missed six games for Chelsea and in that time they have lost twice and conceded 11 goals.

Kante has been training this week but with United visiting Stamford Bridge, Conte is considering whether to play him.

Conte said: "He is progressing well. We have also tomorrow and then I take the best decision for him and the team.

"For sure he is progressing well and I am pleased for this. We are talking about an important player."

Conte then confirmed he could have risked Kante against Roma on Tuesday but preferred to be patient.

He said: "If I wanted to risk him I could have. I waited and find myself a lot of patience to have the best for him.

"If he starts the game then he is ready to do this."
