Salah took his tally to 12 goals in just 17 games with his brace in the 4-1 win at West Ham on Saturday.
It’s been an incredible start for the Egypt international, with many pundits and former players sceptical whether he would be able to replicate his Serie A form in the Premier League after his short spell with Chelsea.
But, at £36million, Salah is proving to be one of the buys of the summer and has helped Liverpool close the gap to the top four and Jurgen Klopp’s side are now just four points adrift of Manchester United in second.
His impact has drawn comparisons to how quickly Mane impressed in his first few months at the club.

And the Senegal international is looking forward to developing an even better understanding with his team-mate and has challenged Salah to continue his excellent form in front of goal.
