Koscielny to call time on France career

20:30: Laurent Koscielny has revealed he is retiring from international duty after the 2018 World Cup.

The France international told L'Equipe: "There is an end to everything.

"After the World Cup, I would be almost 33-years-old, it will be time to leave the place.

"I have six months left in the French team to blossom and take as many memories as my wife would say."

Wenger must change formation - Marcotti

16.45: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger must ditch the 3-4-3 formation his side have been playing for the last six months, says Gabriele Marcotti.

Marcotti says it was only working well because Wenger had players in his squad who could play in the positions.

“I don’t want to see this back three anymore. What is it with the back three?" the journalist told ESPN FC.

“(Antonio) Conte does it last year and all of a sudden ‘oh, I’ll go ahead and do it as well’.

“I know it yielded some results in the early going, but that was when you were playing centre-backs who are actual central defenders.

“Francis Coquelin in the back three! Enough!”

Arsenal reignite Rafinha interest

14:30: There’s 55 days until the January transfer window opens, so naturally Arsenal have been tipped to sign Rafinha.

The Gunners have frequently been linked with the talented Barcelona midfielder, who’s been sidelined since April with a knee injury.

But this time, it’s different…

Spanish website Mundo Deportivo claim Arsene Wenger will accelerate a deal for the 24-year-old as he prepares for  the possible departures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Oguzhan Ozyakup return?

13:30: Arsenal are hoping to lure Oguzhan Ozyakup back to London with a £10million offer, talkSPORT says.

The 23-year-old left the Gunners in 2012 for £400,000 but with 27 goals for Turkish side Besiktas, Arsenal are said to be keen to bring the attacking midfielder back into the team as speculation mounts for a possible replacement to Mesut Ozil.

Turkish-Football have suggested that Arsenal scouts have been monitoring the playmaker, whose contract expires in June 2018.

And could either submit a deal in January, or risk waiting until the summer to sign him for free.

Arsenal deal could be bad news for Liverpool

12:30: Arsenal are a step closer to signing Barcelona winger Arda Turan after being told he was free to leave the Nou Camp, reports claim.

According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona want to reduce their crippling wage bill in order to sign Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.

And have told Turan, Aleix Vidal and Thomas Vermaelen they can leave.

Arsenal have frequently been linked with Turan, who Barcelona paid £34million for in July 2015, and may finally get the deal over the line at a heavily reduced fee.

Giroud scare

11:30: Harry Winks isn’t the only injury concern for the North London derby.

Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud appeared to take a knock after being spotted clutching his leg during a training session at Clairefontaine.

Giroud, 31, was training with the France national side ahead of Friday’s clash with Wales.

However, it’s believed that he carried on with the rest of the session.

Winks doubt

10:30: Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks is touch-and-go to be fit for the  North London derby.

The 21-year-old breakthrough star twisted his right ankle during Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Wembley.

He’s subsequently withdrawn from the England squad for the upcoming friendlies against Germany and Brazil.

Winks underwent a scan yesterday and faces a race to be fit for Tottenham’s clash with Arsenal at the Emirates on November 18.

Dixon: Wenger can’t fix Gunners

09:30: Arsene Wenger has created an environment at Arsenal where the players don’t know what they are doing, according to Lee Dixon.

“I honestly think they’re unfixable by Arsene,” he said on BBC Five Live.

“What he’s got there, he’s created an environment that doesn’t really know what they’re doing without the ball.

“It’s quite simple. For me it’s simple when I watch them I think they can beat anybody on their day going forward.

“They can lose to anybody on their day defensively. That summed it up at the weekend against Man City.”

Gunners to fight for Goretzka

08:30: Leon Goretzka appears to be in high demand with both Tottenham and Arsenal interested in bringing the 22-year-old to the Premier League.

The Daily Mirror claim Arsenal have had eyes on the Schalke midfielder for quite a while, but now Spurs seem keen to take on their north London rivals for the signature of the young German after attending a number of his games in the last month, the paper says.

Gunners to challenge Liverpool for Navas

07:30: Arsenal are ready to battle it out with Liverpool to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas in January, reports claim.

Navas, who has made six La Liga starts this term, is currently out of action as he has a torn abductor muscle.

Recent reports suggested Liverpool were lining up an audacious swoop.

With Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius struggling to convince Jurgen Klopp of their abilities, the German tactician is keen to strengthen between the sticks.

Diario Gol claimed Navas has become increasingly frustrated with his situation at Real, and he doesn’t think he has the trust of the club’s president Florentino Perez.

And now El Gol Digital report Arsenal are exploring the option of signing the Costa Rica international.
