Parlour hails Kane

15:00: Ray Parlour says there is no doubt Tottenham’s Harry Kane would get into the Arsenal’s starting XI.

Parlour said: “Would Harry Kane get into the Arsenal team? Well, that’s a little bit of a silly question, of course he would.

“Harry Kane is one of the best strikers now around Europe, I think a lot of clubs would love someone like Harry Kane.

“He’s been brilliant for Spurs over the last few seasons, he does it week in, week out.”

Alan Smith slams Kroenke

13:04: Arsenal great Alan Smith claims Stan Kroenke’s lack of passion for the club is "creating instability" around the Emirates.

"There’s a lack of strong leadership at the top of Arsenal," Smith told Standard Sport. "Stan Kroenke isn’t that engaged, not conversant with English football. He’s not passionate about the sport, as much as he might try to make you think he is.

“That’s creating instability around the club.

"[The AGM] was unfortunate to say the least. I was surprised at the way Sir Chips Keswick behaved. Those fans deserve to be treated with respect and their questions listened to and answered. It didn’t do the club any favours.”

Giroud injury concern

11:45: Olivier Giroud has revealed he’s picked up a thigh problem playing for France.

The Arsenal striker scored France’s second goal as they beat Wales 2-0 but said afterwards that he felt pain in his thigh during the warm-up.

And Giroud admitted he was a doubt for Tuesday’s clash with Germany saying: It will be difficult.”

Wilshere to AC Milan

09:45: Paul Merson reckons Jack Wilshere should leave Arsenal to push for a place in England’s squad for the World Cup next summer.

"He [Southgate] has called up Jack Cork, who I like and think is a good player, but Jack Wilshere has got to move.

"It is alright Arsene Wenger saying a fit Jack Wilshere gets in the England team, but you have to play for Arsenal. But at the same time, [Jesse] Lingard has started less games than Wilshere.

"The way he plays, I think going abroad probably suits him and his game, otherwise he is going to go to a relegation-battling team, and that is not his game.

"He needs to get on the ball and play football and be in a team that really are going to have a lot more of the ball than not. So probably abroad to an AC Milan or somewhere like that."

Shaw interest

08:30: Arsenal are reportedly among several clubs keeping an eye on Manchester United’s Luke Shaw.

The Telegraph says United will look to sell Shaw next summer for at least £20million.

Spurs, Chelsea, Everton and Manchester City are also keeping an eye.

Giroud record

08:00: Olivier Giroud says he is targeting Jean-Pierre Papin’s goal record for France.

“It’s always nice to be the 10th player in France’s history to score [that many goals],” he told Arsenal Player.

“I’ve scored 23 goals but I want to score more for my national team. I don’t want to stop there. It’s obviously a great feeling and hopefully some more will come.

“My target is to reach Jean-Pierre Papin. It will be an amazing achievement for me so that’s why I don’t want to stop. He scored very nice goals and was one of my favourite strikers when I was young. At the end of my career, if I can say that I scored as many goals as him, I will be very proud.

“I always try to give everything for my country and I’m very proud to play for France. I’ve shown that I’m strong enough mentally to face the criticism and like [Didier Deschamps] said, you have to deal with that.

“You’re always the first person people point to if the team don’t score, but the thing is that I score and I’m doing well with the team. We have a good generation and I think we have a few very good young players who will be very important for France in the future, so we are confident for the rest of the World Cup qualifiers. We want to win it.”

Juventus eye Bellerin

07:30: Juventus are interested in Arsenal's Hector Bellerin.

The Sun say the Italian champions have already made contact with the 22-year-old.

In November 2015, Bellerin signed a six-and-a-half-year contract with Arsenal.
