Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi has welcomed reports linking Angel Di Maria with a move to the San Siro, claiming the former Manchester United forward 'has great quality'.
With United plotting a move for Inter winger Ivan Perisic before the end of the transfer window, the Argentina international has emerged as a possible replacement for the Italian side.
A move seemed to be off the cards on Wednesday, when Inter director Piero Ausilio suggested the Paris Saint-Germain player's wage demands were too high.

'You cannot think of bringing those in who earn three or four times more than our best player,' he said.
But during a Q&A on Inter's official Facebook page, Icardi suggested he would like his side to sign the 29-year-old.
