Juan Mata has refused to rule the possibility of Manchester United signing his Spain international team-mate Alvaro Morata.
The Red Devils saw a bid for Morata rejected by Real Madrid last month with the Spanish giants demanding £70million for the 24-year-old.
United instead completed the £75million signing of Romelu Lukaku from Everton but Mata says the arrival of the Belgian striker doesn't completely dash United's chances of signing Morata.

'It looks tough to see Alvaro Morata in a Red Devils shirt with the arrival of Romelu,' Mata told Cadena Cope via FourFourTwo.
'We've signed an important player in attack and it's difficult, although you never know. Things can happen in the last few days, but I wish Alvaro the best.'
A player who could be moving the other way is United stopper David De Gea, with Madrid preparing to launch another bid for Spain's first choice goalkeeper.
United would demand a fee in excess of £60million for De Gea, who is open to the idea of moving to the Champions League holders but will not push for a transfer.
But despite Real's interest, Mata remains confident De Gea will remain at Old Trafford, adding: 'I think De Gea will stay'.

Mata started for United in their 5-2 victory over Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday - the first fixture of their pre-season tour of the United States.
Lukaku came on at half time for his United debut during the match, which was won via a brace from Marcus Rashford and strikes from Marouane Fellaini, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial.
United's next match of the tour is against Real Salt Lake at the Rio Tindo Stadium in Sandy, Utah on Tuesday.
Madrid and United will face off at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on July 23 before Jose Mourinho's side play Barcelona in Maryland to round off the tour.
