Alexis Sanchez left his Arsenal team-mates convinced he wants to leave the club as he returned to training on Tuesday.
The Chile international reported for pre-season on Tuesday amid fears he may not show up after complaining of illness towards the end of last week.
The forward was due back at London Colney on Sunday but was permitted an extra two days off.

However, Sportsmail understands the South American left his colleagues under no illusion of his preference to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer as he arrived back to their Hertforshire HQ on Tuesday.
Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain are leading the chase for Sanchez, with the player preferring a move to the Etihad.
But manager Arsene Wenger reiterated to Sanchez on Tuesday that he will not be sold - and certainly not to an English club.
Sanchez underwent fitness tests on Tuesday and is expected to join the squad for full training on Wednesday.
The former Barcelona star is likely to miss Sunday’s Community Shield against Chelsea but could be fast-tracked into the squad for the Premier League opener against Leicester on August 11. His late arrival for pre-season training was due to his involvement in the Confederations Cup earlier this summer.
Meanwhile, have lost highly-rated academy coach Jan van Loon to Wolfsburg.

Sanchez is set to rejoin his team-mates on Wednesday after going through tests on Tuesday
The Dutchman has joined Andries Jonker at the German club, having worked together at the Emirates.
Van Loon worked closely with Arsenal’s Under-15’s and held the title of head of individual player development.
But he has followed Jonker to the Bundesliga when he will work with the first team.
Jonkier also took former Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg - who was also an academy coach at Arsenal - with him to Wolfsburg when he left in February.
