For the most part, Nemanja Matic's Manchester United debut went smoothly as they beat Sampdoria 2-1 in Dublin.
However there was one unfortunate moment when the Serbian enforcer made a strong challenge near the touchline.

The 29-year-old, seeing the woman clutching her face in pain, immediately went over to apologise.
The woman and her friends seemed to see the funny side however, with the mates in particular laughing off the incident.
Matic himself had a cheeky grin on his face as he returned to action, where his combative display with have impressed United supporters following his £40million transfer from Chelsea.
United went on to win the game, played in the Irish capital, 2-1 with goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata.
It concluded United's pre-season, with their next game coming against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup in Skopje.
