Gray started just nine Premier League matches for the Foxes last season, but the 21-year-old was used as a sub 21 times, providing one goal and three assists.

Bournemouth have already strengthened their squad with four signings this summer.

The Cherries spent £30m to buy Nathan Ake and Asmir Begovic from Premier League champions Chelsea.

England striker Jermain Defoe and former Blackburn youngster Connor Mahoney have also arrived at the Vitality Stadium.

But Eddie Howe is keen to do more business before next month's transfer deadline.
