Borthwick-Jackson progressed through Manchester United's academy and following his first-team debut under former manager Louis van Gaal in November 2015 has gone on to make a total of 14 appearances.
However, Borthwick-Jackson did not feature in Jose Mourinho's plans and joined Wolves on loan last season and made seven appearances.
