Harry Kane may be on the verge of a brand new season with Tottenham, but the star striker appears to have his mind firmly set on the last two campaigns; and who can blame him?

The England international has emerged as one of the top strikers in Europe with his exploits in front of goal reaping two Golden Boots, which, according to Instagram, were finally introduced to one another on Monday.

Kane posted a photo of his two shiny boots sitting next to one another at his home and came complete with the caption: 'My boys finally meet each other!'

It goes without saying that the 24-year-old will have his eyes on a third consecutive Golden Boot this season, not only because it will help Tottenham in their pursuit of a first Premier League title but it would also equal the current record.

Only Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry have ever won the Premier League Golden Boot in three successive seasons with the latter holding the record for the most overall with four.

While few would bet against Kane at least equalling Henry's record at some point in his career, he faces a tremendous battle to keep his title after an influx of striking talent this summer.

Romelu Lukaku, who finished second last season with 25 goals, will benefit from more support after completing a move to Manchester United while Alexandre Lacazette and Alvaro Morata will further increase the competition.

Adding to the task, Tottenham must also adapt to the unfamiliar surroundings of Wembley Stadium after saying goodbye to White Hart Lane at the end of the last campaign.
