  • Arsene Wenger's side won the Community Shield last Sunday against Chelsea
  • Theo Walcott insists the upcoming season is going to be 'different' to last
  • Walcott revealed the squad is relishing the prospect of challenging for the title

Arsenal midfielder Theo Walcott insists they have recovered from last season's hangover and is confident they can silence their critics.

Arsenal claimed the Community Shield on Sunday with a shoot-out victory over Chelsea, but questions continue to be asked of both Wenger and his team.

Walcott, however, is feeling poised ahead of the new Premier League season and revealed the whole squad are relishing the challenge ahead.

'We know what we want to do this season. We know how important it is,' he said.

'Everyone's up for the challenge, you know we do like a good challenge.'
