Javier Hernandez has declared he is fully fit to face former club Manchester United on Sunday – but has not yet decided whether he will celebrate if he scores.

West Ham's £16million signing has returned to the Premier League after time away with Real Madrid in La Liga and Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.

Hernandez officially left Old Trafford in 2015 and is now set to return to his old stomping ground.

'Imagine the emotion that I would have in that moment if I have the luck to score a goal,' Hernandez said.

'With my old club, with my old fans, and my old stadium so probably I can't celebrate.

'But as well it would be my first goal in a comeback with my new club that has confidence in me against my old club and old fans. And as well with my new fans. So I don't know.

'I won't think about celebration. The only thing in my mind is if I start to have minutes on the pitch, it is to do as well as I can and deliver a performance.

'I would love to score a goal and to help my team get a result if I can do it with scoring a goal.'

Hernandez said he had not spoken to his old mentor Sir Alex Ferguson yet but he is hoping to see him at Old Trafford.
