Arsene Wenger sees no comparison between the ongoing situations with Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea's Diego Costa - because the Gunners are determined to keep their star man.
The Arsenal manager again insisted that Sanchez will not be leaving the club this summer despite having just one year remaining on his contract, meaning he could leave for free 12 months from now.
And he insisted the scenario with Chelsea striker Costa, currently at home in Brazil having been frozen out by manager Antonio Conte, is totally different.

Asked by beIN Sports about the two players, Wenger said: 'Of course [Sanchez is going to stay. I have enough problems not to make an assessment on Chelsea’s problems.
‘This is a special situation [with Costa] when you look from the outside – it’s a different situation.
‘We always wanted to keep Sanchez and – we hope – even now that we can extend the contracts of Sanchez, Chamberlain and Ozil.
‘So it’s difficult for me to analyse the Chelsea situation with Costa.’

The Spain striker was told by Conte that he wouldn't be part of his plans by text message at the beginning of the summer and he is now trying to push through a return to Atletico Madrid.
The Daily Mail tracked him down to his family home in Lagarto, Brazil, where he accused the club of treating him 'like a criminal.'
Sanchez watched from the stands as Arsenal beat Leicester City 4-3 in their Premier League opener on Friday night, and Wenger is still confident he'll at least see out the remainder of his contract if not sign a new one.
He said: 'It looks unusual to the media sometimes that clubs want contracts to be respected. For me, it looks logical.
'I am amazed that you are amazed, it looks normal. If I sign a contract, I respect it.
'Of course, if a club releases me, it is normal that I can go somewhere else, but I know that, when I sign for two years with Arsenal, Arsenal have that contract and I have to respect it.'
