Tottenham look to recover from Wembley defeat by Chelsea as they train ahead of Burnley clash

Tottenham's Wembley woes continued on Sunday when they were beaten by Chelsea in their first home game of the season.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are using the national stadium as their home for the next year while the new White Hart Lane is completed.

And last season's runners up were back on the training ground on Tuesday following defeat by Chelsea, who took three points thanks to two goals from Marcos Alonso.

The wing back netted a late winner past Hugo Lloris, with many feeling the goalkeeper should not have let the ball go under his body.

And Lloris admitted he was left 'frustrated' by the result and his own failure to reward his team-mates' efforts by saving from Alonso.

'My frustration is even more personal because the second goal is a lack of success on my part,' he said. 'Okay, it happens in football, but the lads made so much effort it makes it so frustrating.'

Pochettino has a week to work with his players ahead of their next clash at Wembley, when Burnley visit London on Sunday looking to bounce back from a home defeat by West Brom last weekend.

Tottenham, too, will look to right the wrongs of their clash with Chelsea. The likes of Son Heung-min and Harry Winks looked in good spirits as they were put through their paces on Tuesday.

'Now it's about the way (we) get rid of that frustration,' Lloris said. 'We will keep working hard, prepare for the next game and as I said, with the same spirit, that won't be a problem.'
