Premier League clubs face a busy few days before the transfer window closes... but how have the players already signed performed so far?

Premier League clubs have just three days left of the summer transfer window to add to their squads following a hectic few months of wheeling and dealing.

Plenty of debuts have been handed out already this summer, with mixed results, ranging from high profile signings such as Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku to previously unknown players such as Huddersfield's Steve Mounie.

Here, Sportsmail assesses the Premier League summer signings.

ARSENAL 

Alexandre Lacazette, £53m from Lyon

Scored within two minutes of his Premier League debut against Leicester and had another controversially ruled out at Stoke. Encouraging start. RATING: 7/10

Sead Kolasinac, free from Schalke

Started with a goal in the Community Shield victory over Chelsea and has impressed with his all-action approach and desire to get forward Was not involved in the hammering at Liverpool. RATING: 7/10

BOURNEMOUTH

Nathan Ake, £20m from Chelsea

No stranger to the Cherries following his loan spell last season, but is yet to hit the heights. Could arguably have been sent off against Manchester City. RATING: 5/10  

Asmir Begovic, £10m from Chelsea

Won the starting spot ahead of Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc this summer but has yet to show his true worth in the Cherries' three league defeats. RATING: 6/10 

Jermain Defoe, free from Sunderland 

Played in all four games in league and cup but has yet to find the net and is perhaps a little short of fitness. Will fire soon enough. RATING: 6/10

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION 

Jose Izquierdo, 13.5m from Club Brugge

A significant signing for the promoted Seagulls but his debut on Saturday at Watford only allowed him nine minutes as he entered the game as a late substitute. RATING: 6/10 

Pascal Gross, undisclosed from Ingolstadt

The midfielder has made an okay start to life in England but has, at times, looked a little too lightweight for the Premier League. RATING: 6/10 

Mathew Ryan - Valencia, undisclosed

Has made a number of errors so far, including against Leicester when he spilled Riyad Mahrez's shot straight to Shinji Okazaki to score. RATING: 5/10 

Markus Suttner, undisclosed from Ingolstadt

Looks useful going forward but was exposed by a lack of pace against Watford at the weekend. RATING: 6/10 

Izzy Brown, loan from Chelsea

Has only made one appearance this season since joining from Chelsea. RATING: 5/10 

Davy Propper - undisclosed from PSV

Has yet to truly express himself during a series of safe midfield displays. RATING: 6/10

BURNLEY 

Jack Cork, £8m from Swansea

Has become an important member of the side following his move and has settled in well. RATING: 7/10 

Charlie Taylor, £5m from Leeds

His only outing so far has come in the Carabao Cup win at Blackburn. RATING 4/10 

Jon Walters, £3m from Stoke City

A bit part player so far with his only start coming in the cup win at Ewood Park, in which he injured his ankle. RATING: 4/10.

Chris Wood, £16m from Leeds

Could not have asked for a better start following his equaliser against Tottenham at Wembley. RATING 9/10

CHELSEA  

Alvaro Morata, £70.6m from Real Madrid

Two goals and two assists in his first three games has already gone some way to repaying the hefty fee as he bids to replace Diego Costa. RATING: 8/10 

Tiemoue Bakayoko, £40m from Monaco

Played the full 90 minutes against Tottenham without the benefit of a pre-season, looking a little rusty but coped well enough. RATING: 6/10 

Antonio Rudiger, £31m from Roma 

Was a bit shaky during the victory over Tottenham but has coped well in the absence of suspended captain Gary Cahill. RATING: 7/10

CRYSTAL PALACE

Jairo Riedewald, £8m from Ajax

Played 90 minutes in the opening day loss to Huddersfield at Selhurst Park but has not been seen since. RATING: 4/10

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, loan from Chelsea

Finally out playing some serious football and is showing just why he is so highly rated. Strong, forward thinking and good in possession. RATING: 6/10

Timothy Fosu-Mensah, loan from Manchester United 

Has had his work cut out playing in a defensive system full of problems but his Manchester United quality has been able to shine through. RATING: 6/10

EVERTON 

Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea City, £45m)

The headline buy from a summer spending spree which has seen the Everton squad transformed, Sigurdsson has already scored a Europa League stunner. Now needs to produce in the Premier League. RATING: 7/10 

Jordan Pickford (Sunderland £30m)

Perhaps the pick of the Toffees' signings so far, the former Sunderland goalkeeper is a calm presence, an excellent shot-stopper and a supreme distributor. RATING: 9/10 

Michael Keane (Burnley, £30m)

Has slotted into Koeman's backline with supreme ease and has shown exactly why he is slated as a future England mainstay. RATING: 8/10 

Davy Klaassen, £23.6m from Ajax

Still growing into his midfield role at Goodison but has shown promise: RATING: 6/10 

Sandro Ramirez, £5.2m from Malaga

No goals so far but a few positives to speak of. Is likely to face further competition for a starting spot before the window closes. RATING: 6/10 

Wayne Rooney, free from Manchester United

It's been an emotional start so far for the returning Toffee, who has scored at Goodison and gave his side the lead at old foes Manchester City. RATING: 8/10 

Cuco Martina, free from Southampton

Has been restricted largely to Europa League appearances so far but has shown he can provide cover. RATING: 5/10

HUDDERSFIELD

Aaron Mooy, £10m from Manchester City

Was one of the key men behind Huddersfield's promotion and has proved just as important in a stunning start to life in the Premier League for the Terriers. RATING: 8/10

Tom Ince, £8m from Derby County

Has looked better and better in each game so far as he bids to prove he has what it takes to play in the Premier League. RATING: 7/10 

Steve Mounie, £11.5m from Montpellier

An unknown following his arrival from France, but announced himself with a bang as he netted a brace in the opening day victory at Crystal Palace. RATING: 8/10 

Mathias Jorgensen, undisclosed from Copenhagen

David Wagner has made a habit of bringing in central defenders from abroad and using them well. This Football Manager legend is the latest: RATING: 6/10 

Jonas Lossl, loan from Mainz

Signed on loan from Mainz to replace Danny Ward and has started all-three top flight games so far, performing well. RATING: 6/10 

Kasey Palmer, loan from Chelsea

Played his part in promotion last season and looks set to play a part again this season. Could be in and out of the side all season. RATING: 5/10

LEICESTER

Kelechi Iheanacho, £25m from Manchester City

Has yet to really get started with injury disrupting the Nigerian's new life at the King Power Stadium. RATING: 6/10 

Harry Maguire, £17m from Hull City

One of a handful of young, exciting English centre halves and has shown he can help get the Foxes back to the defensive strength they had in their title winning season. Scored in the home win over Brighton: RATING: 7/10 

Vicente Iborra, £15m from Sevilla

Has struggled with a groin strain since arriving in the summer and has yet to appear. RATING: n/a

LIVERPOOL 

Mohamed Salah, £39m from Roma

Five games, three goals and plenty of attack flair have contributed to a great start at Anfield for the Egyptian. Got off to a flyer at Watford with a goal and also netted in the 4-0 humiliation of Arsenal. RATING: 9/10 

Andy Roberston, £8m from Hull City

His only minutes so far have come in the 1-0 home victory over Crystal Palace, which he played the entirety off, with the Scot having work to do to make the left back slot his own. RATING: 6/10 

Dominic Solanke, tribunal fee from Chelsea

Showed plenty of promise in the pre-season but, in competitive play, has yet to really make a serious impact. RATING: 5/10

MANCHESTER CITY

Kyle Walker, £54m from Tottenham Hotspur

Not really the start England's most expensive ever player would have wanted after he was sent off in the 1-1 draw with Everton. RATING: 5/10 

Benjamin Mendy, £52m from Monaco

Made his debut in Saturday's victory at Bournemouth and looked a little short of fitness but still managed to be a danger going forward. RATING: 6/10 

Bernardo Silva, £43m from Monaco

The pick of his performances came against the Cherries, where he moved the ball superbly and linked up play to a level City fans have become used to from namesake David Silva. RATING: 8/10

Ederson, £35m from Benfica

Looking like an upgrade on Claudio Bravo already, but perhaps could have done better for Wayne Rooney's goal in their home opener with Everton. RATING: 6/10 

Danilo £27m from Real Madrid

The man to benefit from Walker's absence, the Brazilian could perhaps have been braver for Charlie Daniels' stunner for Bournemouth and has more to offer going forward. RATING: 6/10

MANCHESTER UNITED 

Romelu Lukaku, £75m from Everton

Power, pace and an eye for goal have ensured a strong start to Lukaku's Manchester United career. Three in three in the Premier League so far could have been four in four had his penalty not been saved by Kasper Schmeichel. RATING: 8/10 

Nemanja Matic, £40m from Chelsea

The Serb has slotted into Jose Mourinho's midfield well, with his simple game and ability to break up play already shining through. RATING: 8/10

Victor Lindelof, £30.7m from Benfica

Has yet to appear in the Premier League following a difficult pre-season which saw him caught out positionally on numerous occasions, including in the Super Cup loss to Real Madrid. RATING: 5/10

NEWCASTLE UNITED

Jacob Murphy, £12m from Norwich City

The winger swapped Carrow Road for the club he supported as a boy in the summer but has not made a significant contribution as of yet. RATING: 6/10 

Florian Lejeune (Eibar, £8.7m)

Last just 34 minutes of his debut against Tottenham before by injured in a challenge with Harry Kane. RATING: 6/10 

Christian Atsu, £6.2m from Chelsea

Back on a permanent deal after being a major part of the promotion campaign, Atsu has already laid on two goals for team-mates. RATING: 7/10 

Joselu, £5m from Stoke City

Got off the mark on Saturday as he swept home the opening goal of the Magpies' victory over West Ham. RATING: 7/10 

Javier Manquillo, undisclosed from Atletico Madrid

Has been caught out on a number of occasions at the back as he deputises for DeAndre Yedlin. RATING: 4/10 

Mikel Merino, loan from Borussia Dortmund

The Spaniard was the star of the show during victory over West Ham, completely dominating the Hammers' midfield. RATING: 7/10

SOUTHAMPTON

Mario Lemina (Juventus, £18m)

The Gabon star has shown flashes of why the Saints were convinced to shell out a club-record fee for him but there's still more to come. RATING: 6/10 

Jan Bednarek, £5.7m from Lech Poznan

Yet to feature in the Premier League, with his only action so far coming in the Carabao Cup defeat by Wolves. RATING: 5/10

STOKE CITY

Bruno Martins Indi, £7.25m from Porto

Another player returning to his Premier League club following a successful loan spell, the Dutchman has picked up where he left off. RATING: 6/10 

Jean-Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, undisclosed from Schalke

Showed good work rate and an ability to fly forward with the ball at his feet. RATING: 7/10 

Darren Fletcher, free from West Bromwich Albion

Typically neat and tidy since his move from West Brom, Fletcher has added class to the Stoke midfield. RATING: 7/10 

Kurt Zouma, loan from Chelsea

Another upgrade, this time in defence. The Chelsea loanee has made a solid start to life at the bet365 Stadium. RATING: 7/10 

Jese Rodriguez, loan from Paris Saint-Germain

Made the best possible start to life in England as he swept home the only goal of the game in his side's victory over Arsenal. RATING: 8/10

SWANSEA

Roque Mesa, £11m from Las Palmas

So far the Welsh club are waiting for any kind of return on the £11m they spent on the Spaniard, who has started two games in which they have conceded four goals. RATING: 4/10 

Tammy Abraham, loan from Chelsea

Scored 26 goals for Bristol City and looks to be making the step up well with two in his last two for the Swans. The second came in the Premier League victory over Crystal Palace: RATING: 7/10

Sam Clucas, £16.5m from Hull City 

Made his debut at Palace and was his typical dynamic, hard-working self. RATING: 6/10

TOTTENHAM

Davinson Sanchez, a £42m buy from Ajax, is Tottenham's only summer signing to date. He made his debut in the 89th minute of the 1-1 draw with Burnley at Wembley. 

WATFORD

Andre Gray, £18.5m from Burnley

No goals so far for the English striker who has frustrated sections of the Watford support with his performances, despite their impressive league position. RATING: 6/10 

Richarlison, £11.2m from Fluminense

Has made a hugely impressive start to life in English football, with his first goal, againsts Bournemouth, setting his side on the way to victory. RATING: 8/10 

Tom Cleverley, £8m from Everton

Has proven himself to be a Swiss Army Knife of the Watford midfield so far this season, playing deep and in more advanced roles. RATING: 7/10 

Will Hughes, £8m from Derby County

The young playmaker has long been linked with a step up to the Premier League, but his move has so far yielded just one appearance in the Carabao Cup. RATING: 6/10

Nathaniel Chalobah, £6m from Watford

Finally has a permanent home after years of being shunted out on loan by Chelsea, and his impressive form has seen him rewarded with an England call-up. RATING: 8/10. 

Kiko Femenia, free from Alaves 

Has played all three Premier League games, helping his side keep two clean sheets. Good start. RATING: 7/10

WEST BROMWICH ALBION

Jay Rodriguez, £12m from Southampton

Two goals in his last two games, including one in the Premier League against Stoke which looked to have set his side on the way to victory before Peter Crouch's equaliser. RATING: 7/10 

Gareth Barry, £1m from Everton

As expected, Barry has been a calming influence and an experienced head in midfield following his move. RATING: 6/10  

Ahmed Hegazi, loan Al Ahly

The defender scored on his debut against Bournemouth to secure the three points for his side, which remains unbeaten. He was, however, partially at fault for Peter Crouch's equaliser for Stoke on Saturday. RATING: 7/10

WEST HAM UNITED

Marko Arnautovic, £24m from Stoke City

Yet to see his true ability, in part due to the fact he was stupidly sent off for leaving an elbow in on Southampton defender Jack Stephens, in a game his side went on to lose. RATING: 3/10

Javier Hernandez, £16m from Bayer Leverkusen

West Ham fans hoped they would be getting the same player who scored some important goals for Manchester United, and it looks like they have. The Hammers may be struggling but Hernandez has two goals already, now they just need to translate them into wins. RATING: 7/10  

Pablo Zabaleta, free from Manchester City

Brought in to add some experience to the West Ham defence, but it's not started hugely well. Zabaleta has played all three Premier League games, with the Hammers leaking 10 goals. RATING: 5/10

Joe Hart, loan from Manchester City

The Englishman conceded all of the aforementioned 10 goals, and has now not kept a clean sheet in club football for 23 games and 216 days. RATING: 5/10
