Manchester United star Paul Pogba works out intensely in Carrington training ground gym as he prepares for return of Premier League action

Paul Pogba has been hard at work at Manchester United's Carrington training base following his international duties with France.

Pogba, who played in both of France's World Cup qualifiers against Holland and Luxembourg, has hit up the Carrington gym ahead of United's trip to Stoke on Saturday evening.

The midfielder took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to post a video of himself working out intensely in the gym, with the caption: 'My office'.

The France international can be seen catching and throwing a Swiss Ball at the wall

In the social media video, the 24-year-old can be seen catching and then throwing a Swiss ball at the wall, both on his strong and weak side. 

Pogba and his United team-mates will be hoping to maintain their perfect start to the Premier League season on the weekend after winning their opening three matches against West Ham, Swansea and Leicester. 

Jose Mourinho's side have been in ruthless form so far and currently sit top of the table, scoring 10 times and conceding none. 

And Pogba, who struggled to adapt to life back in England following his £89million move last season, has played an instrumental role in United's quickfire start.

The France international has scored twice and created one assist in the English top flight already.
