Rejoice: the international break is over!
The Premier League returns this weekend following the awkward fortnight that falls every year just when the new season is beginning to boil and bubble.
The two weeks can be a welcome reprieve for managers in trouble or an annoying pause for those who are in full flow.
Here, Sportsmail brings you 10 reasons we're glad it’s back…

WENGER ENTERS THE DINOSAURS’ DEN
Defeat by Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday is unthinkable for Arsenal and their manager. The club is already awash with unrest but a third defeat in four games would make Arsene Wenger’s decision in the summer to stay increasingly misguided.
RETURNING DOGS
There are plenty of players back with tails between their legs. Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, Virgil van Dijk of Southampton and Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal did not get their big-money moves to greener pastures. All will be in contention this weekend for their respective clubs and they will be judged accordingly by the fans they were prepared to turn their back on.

MANCHESTER CITY V LIVERPOOL
What a way to kick off the weekend's action. Pep Guardiola versus Jurgen Klopp in the lunchtime game; two attack-minded managers head-to-head in a league where even games so early in the season can play a crucial part come the end of it.

ON THE WAYNE?
At the start of the international break Wayne Rooney was hailed for turning his career around by returning to Everton. Then the striker got a little over-excited celebrating the fact and has come back with his life in turmoil. Will manager Ronald Koeman take him out of the firing line for the visit of Spurs?

OX-ELLENT DECISION?
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s move to Liverpool divided opinion among his new club's supporters and neutrals alike. Some consider him an odd purchase for an already competitive central midfield. Others believe the £35million man to be a steal, poaching young English talent from Arsenal. A strong debut performance against Manchester City would go some way to proving his doubters wrong.

MAKING THEIR POINT
Nobody would’ve predicted the three managers to have zero points after three matches. Slaven Bilic at West Ham and Crystal Palace’s Frank de Boer are under huge pressure at their clubs. Eddie Howe less so, but the Bournemouth manager is not invincible. Howe travels to chaotic Arsenal on Saturday, on Sunday De Boer is up at Burnley and Bilic must wait until Monday and a first home game of the season against Huddersfield.

SWANS-ATIONAL
Swansea stunned the rest of the league when they pulled off the £7m loan signing of Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich, using manager Paul Clement's trusty contacts at his former club. The precociously-talented central midfielder is set to begin his time at the Liberty Stadium against Newcastle on Sunday.

ALL EYES ON OZIL
Mesut Ozil started a row with former-Arsenal-players-turned-pundits who have been ripping into the club recently. ‘Stop talking and start supporting,’ the midfielder demanded. His performance — many of which have been widely criticised over the years — against Bournemouth will most certainly be a topic of conversation.

100% UNITED
Can Manchester United maintain their 100 per cent Premier League record? In an increasingly difficult league to win all of your matches, even against so-called ‘lesser’ sides, Jose Mourinho’s United are the only club not to drop points this season after three games. They travel to Stoke, who have been a tough team to beat this season and have already defeated Arsenal.

INTERNATIONAL BREAK IS OVER
