Antonio Conte said he was surprised Hazard was called up by Belgium manager Roberto Martinez for their World Cup qualifiers after breaking his ankle in June.

Hazard started and scored in Belgium's 9-0 win over Gibraltar and came off the bench for the final 16 minutes of the 2-1 victory in Greece.

Danny Drinkwater is set to make his Chelsea debut against Leicester - just over a week after leaving the Foxes for Stamford Bridge for £35million on deadline day.

Hazard, who played in France with Lille, admitted recently that he would consider a move to the 'special' La Liga in the future.

'At the moment I am happy in England,' Hazard told Marca. 'I am playing for one of the best teams, but the Spanish league is special.

'Why not some day? But having said that, at the moment I am here [at Chelsea].'
