Bernardo Silva has revealed former Manchester United stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani convinced him that he made the right choice to join Manchester City this summer.
The Portuguese midfielder was Pep Guardiola's first signing of a busy summer transfer window, joining from Monaco in a deal worth £43million at the end of May.
Silva and his City team-mates taken on Liverpool at the Etihad on Saturday and, speaking ahead of the match, the 23-year-old said that both Ronaldo and Nani told him that joining City 'would be a great move'.

'At the Confederations Cup, I asked Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani about Manchester and they told me how much they enjoyed it here,' Silva told Four Four Two.
'They said that all of the people were great and that it's a real football city.
'The Premier League, too – a competitive league with full stadiums each week and everyone watching. They both said it would be a great move.'
Silva made his first league start for City against Bournemouth in their last-gasp 2-1 victory over Bournemouth two weekends ago and is in line to feature against Liverpool on Saturday.

They currently sit fourth in the top flight, with seven points from their opening three matches and are one of the hot favourites to win the Premier League this season.
However, the former Monaco man is targeting more than just winning the league in his debut season in Manchester.
Silva added: 'The Premier League title is a big goal for the club this season but the Champions League is also huge. When you're at a club like Manchester City, you have to really fight to win every competition.'
