Manchester City stars board private jet as they fly to London for their Premier League tie with Watford

Fresh from their 4-0 mauling of Feyenoord on Wednesday, the Manchester City squad are travelling in style ahead of their Premier League fixture with Watford.

Pep Guardiola's squad took off from Manchester Airport in their private jet on Friday afternoon, hoping to continue their good domestic form.

City currently sit second in the Premier League, level on points with rivals Manchester United but behind on goal difference.

Not every club splash out on the luxury of a private jet but the City staff will be trying to save every ounce of energy in the squad following their European trip to Rotterdam.

City won their first Champions League group match during midweek and fans will hope the team can replicate their European form.

They face a stern challenge away at Watford though, with the Hornets unbeaten in the league so far.

Guardiola will still fancy his side's chances, especially with the option of picking Raheem Sterling on his return from a domestic ban.

Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus were both pictured boarding the plane and both could start once more against the Hornets.

Both have been in fine goalscoring form, with the pair finding the net against Liverpool and Feyenoord in their previous two fixtures.
