Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum believes the club's summer transfer business will bear fruit, highlighting the impact Mohamed Salah has made since his arrival at Anfield.
The Reds' defensive deficiencies were exposed once more during Saturday's frustrating 1-1 draw at home to Burnley, but Salah's goal was one of the few positives to emerge as two points were dropped.
The Egypt international, signed from Roma in a club-record deal worth £39million, made it five Premier League goals in as many matches, and Wijnaldum heaped praise on his new team-mate.

'[He brings] a lot of pace and speed! He is technical,' the Dutchman told the club's official website.
'He is not only a guy who scores goals but is also a team player, trying to defend with the team and trying to let other players score.
'He's a great signing for Liverpool and he is also a good person.
'He has settled in really quick because he is a person who socialises with other players and loves to speak with other players, which makes it easier for him and for us to accept him.'

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has made three substitute appearances since joining from Arsenal
Wijnaldum was rested by Jurgen Klopp during the disappointing draw with the Clarets, with Salah cancelling out Scott Arfield's surprise 27th-minute opener.
The Holland international was an unused substitute as Klopp turned to fellow midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a bid to find a winner, and Wijnaldum expects the former Arsenal man to feature more prominently as the season progresses.
Oxlade-Chamerlain has so far made just three substitute appearances since his £35m deadline day move from Arsenal.
Wignaldum added: 'He is also really fast. He is a good team player, a player who can play in different positions.
'That makes it easier for the manager and for us as a team; if something happens in a game you have a few players who can play more positions. That can help us as a team.'
