Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is a transfer target for Serie A side Inter Milan.
The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is free to speak to foreign clubs from January.
Inter president Erick Thohir confirmed: 'He [Ozil] is definitely one of those players we are looking at but the last January signings of [Lukas] Podolski and [Xherdan] Shaqiri proves winter signings can fail to live up to expectations.'

Ozil joined the Gunners from Real Madrid in 2013 but his time in London has not been the success many predicted.
The playmaker has often been criticised for his performances in big games and many fans have been left frustrated by his apparent poor work-rate.
Arsene Wenger may look to try get back some of the £42.5million they spent on the German when the transfer window reopens in January.

Thohir admitted he was interested in a deal but his experiences with failed January buys in the past may yet put him off.
