Liverpool are among the clubs watching Bayer Leverkusen teenager Kai Havertz.
The 18-year-old captained Germany U19s in their 5-1 win over Belarus on Wednesday and scored four goals while assisting for the other.
Liverpool sent a scout to the game and are monitoring the midfielder's progress though Manchester United and Arsenal were also represented.
Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz has earned comparisons to Michael Ballack and Mesut Ozil
Havertz, who also scored against England U19s last month, has already broken into Leverkusen's first team and has been compared to Michael Ballack and Mesut Ozil.
He was introduced as a half-time substitute away at Schalke on Friday night - as his side came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw.
Haivertz has made four Bundesliga appearances in total this season for Leverkusen, with two coming from the start.
