It is likely that they will still fall short of the club record attendance of 85,512, set at Wembley against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League last season.

But it is expected to pass the high mark of this campaign, in which 73,587 watched the 2-1 league defeat by Chelsea in August. As such, Spurs are advising supporters to arrive early for the 3pm kick-off.

It remains to be seen if the extra crowd can influence a change in form, with Spurs yet to win in the league at their temporary home following draws with Swansea and Burnley and the defeat by Chelsea.

Bournemouth ought to be a more straightforward proposition, with Eddie Howe’s side stuck in the bottom two after taking only four points from seven games.
